कबीरदास जी इस पद में संसार की नश्वरता और क्षणभंगुरता को दर्शाते हुए कहते हैं कि यह भौतिक जगत हमारा वास्तविक घर नहीं बल्कि एक पराया देश है। वे संसार की तुलना कागज़ की पुड़िया, काँटों की झाड़ी और सूखे पत्तों से करते हैं जो अत्यंत विनाशशील हैं। अंततः, वे समझाते हैं कि इस सांसारिक मोह-माया और जन्म-मरण के चक्र से मुक्ति केवल सद्गुरु की शरण में जाने और ईश्वर भक्ति में लीन होने से ही संभव है।

In this verse, Kabir highlights the transience and impermanence of the material world, stating that this physical realm is not our true home but a foreign land. He compares the world to a paper packet, a thorny hedge, and dry bushes, all of which are highly perishable. Ultimately, he explains that liberation from this worldly illusion and the cycle of life and death is possible only by surrendering to the true Guru and immersing oneself in divine devotion.
